The bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences is the University of Economics in Berlin and Brandenburg. Thanks to its integration into the structure of business organisations on the one hand and into a powerful network of national and international partnerships from business, science and politics on the other, the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences is able to guarantee close cooperation between the business and the university, both of which are places of learning.
Qualified young talents for your company
The dual degree program offers particular advantages to companies, especially in the light of the emerging skill deficit: You choose your future executives, either from the pool of "fresh" university graduates or from suitable employees within your company, who have the potential for further development by taking a specialized degree. Since the structure of the course is characterized by a constant movement between the theoretical and practical phases, you have the possibility of training for operational requirements, within the limits of the curriculum. You are in a position to better assess the strengths of your students over a longer period of time. Not only are you able to find out more about them, their skills, their professional knowledge and abilities, but you are also able to assess their overall performance as a team player and the "suitability" of a particular student for your company. After graduation, these students are generally ready for operational work, as they already know the company and do not have to undergo lengthy periods of training. Dual studies are thus an important step towards achieving effective employee retention.
Dual studies at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences guarantee a perfect combination of practical experience and theory. The subject matter has a high practical relevance which you as a company can help to shape as part of the curriculum. The programme takes six semesters (three years).
A dual study course is based on
- block studies that alternate between studies at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences and corporate praxis every three months.
