After a successful and responsible time, Prof. Dr. Alexander Bülow will leave the bbw University on 01 March 2019 as the head of studies. Prof. Dr. Bülow will continue to teach at the bbw University as a Professor in the department of Engineering Sciences for Mathematics, Physics and Technical Mechanics. Prof. Dr. Bülow as head of studies was both the contact person for the students and for companies that have been using the opportunity to have their employees study full-time, dual or part-time, in the evenings and on weekends at the bbw University for many years.

In order to bid farewell to Prof. Dr. Bülow in a festive atmosphere, the Open Day in February was taken as an occasion to thank him for his office. With sincere thanks for the good cooperation, his great commitment and also his open ear for the interests of the students, Prof. Dr. Bülow was bid farewell by the university management, the teaching staff and the administrative staff at the Open Day.

At the same time, Prof. Dr. Thoralf Buller was appointed as the new study director. Since 1 May 2018, he has been Professor of Leadership at the bbw University and in the Faculty of Business Science. The university management congratulates Prof. Dr. Buller on his new position, looks forward to the future cooperation and wishes him many innovative ideas, calm and composure, but also the necessary assertiveness. Above all however the bbw university wishes it much joy with the common work around the bbw university to develop further.
