Last Monday, 12th September 2022, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Claudia Nagel, Professor of Industrial Engineering, together with Prof. Dr. Anne Sanftenberg, Professor of Real Estate Management, organised the first bbw Women in Real Estate - After Work networking meeting on our beautiful roof terrace. The aim of the event was to network young talents with female executives from the real estate industry and to enable an exchange among each other.
In addition to female students and graduates of the
Real Estate Management and
Real Estate Project Management courses, experienced female actors in the real estate industry,
Maria Teresa Dreo-Tempsch, Member of the Board of Berlin Hyp AG;
Aygül Özkan, Managing Director of the Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss (ZIA);
Sandra Wehrmann, Member of the Board of degewo AG;
Gitta Rometsch, Managing Director of Heuer Dialog GmbH;
Lena Tuckermann, CEO of Mietz GmbH;
Susanne Tattersall, Managing Partner of TATTERSALL-LORENZ Immobilienverwaltung und -management GmbH and
Susanne Klaußner MRICS, Managing Partner at DIR Deutsche Investment Retail GmbH, were part of the event.
After both professors opened the event with a short round of introductions, the participants worked in small groups at different topic tables. The focus of the event was on the respective views of the students and executives on different topics, such as support opportunities for young talents, career expectations and career goals. The results of the group work were then presented by the respective table leader and discussed in the round.
After the discussion round, all participants and leaders came together for further exchange over drinks and snacks and networked until the sun went down.
