Opening Ceremony for the international Students

On Wednesday, 19 April, the summer semester was officially opened for first-year students. A total of 70 international students from ten different countries have enrolled at the bbw University of Applied Sciences.

The new students were warmly welcomed by Prof. Gebhard Hafer, Rector of the bbw University, Ursula Schwill, Chancellor of the University, and Prof. Irina Slot, Professor of Industrial Engineering. For the students of the Master's programmes International Technology Transfer Management and Strategic Management in Logistics, studying at bbw University of Applied Sciences marks a new stage in their lives. The rector, the chancellor and the professor congratulated the students on this courageous step and found motivating words to welcome and accompany them on their way.

But a new chapter is also beginning for bbw University of Applied Sciences: The move to the campus Berlin-Adlershof has been completed. Even though the enrolment event was still held digitally due to the move, it marks a turning point: These students are the first group to complete their entire studies on the new campus and will be able to benefit from the modern facilities and available resources from the very beginning.

We would like to once again extend a warm welcome to all the new students and wish all students of bbw University of Applied Sciences an educational and successful semester!
