The
bachelor programme "Media and Eventmanagement" welcomes a new study programme advisory board after its profile update for the current semester start on 8 October. The 13 company partners on the advisory board are experienced players who are already focusing on digital value creation in the media and event industry, who hope to gain fresh talent and ideas for their companies from working with bbw, and who above all want to pass on their knowledge to the next generation of media and event managers. They come from online and offline media - print, TV, radio - agencies, the management of large companies and classic event management.
The
study programme advisory boards of our university have the task of ensuring that, in addition to academic competences, the appropriate practical competences are also anchored in the curricula - competences that companies expect from graduates. They evaluate course content, advise the university management on industry trends and, if necessary, initiate content updates. With your support, guest lectures, excursions and panel discussions between students and experts will take place. The companies of the advisory board members often also provide internships, are providers of case studies, practice-related bachelor thesis topics or research assignments. Through their commitment, a large part of the University's claim to offer students a particularly application-oriented course of study can be realised.
