The students of the bachelor's degree programme in Real Estate Management at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences travelled to Palma, Mallorca, for a week together with Prof. Dr. Anne Sanftenberg, head of the programme. The entire study group is studying part-time and is currently in the 7th semester. In addition to imparting subject-related knowledge on the entire life cycle of a property, from the project idea to the planning, construction, management, renovation/conversion and redesign of a property, the programme also focuses on technical, methodological and social skills as well as management methods in an international and European context.

The aim was to get to know the investment market, especially the tax, fiscal, but also legal peculiarities of real estate acquisition in Spain. Exciting discussions and lectures, on-site visits to real estate project developments, micro living and co-working spaces, lectures on Tech Island and entrepreneurship, company visits, opportunities for internships and, of course, getting to know the country and its people were all part of this trip. The trip was organised in cooperation with the companies PlattesGroup - European Accounting, Private Development, Engel & Völkers Palma Centre, SteelHous, Private Property, Convendum and Ascenso Akademie für Business und Medien.
