On the past Monday, students collectively celebrated the Diwali Festival. The Intercultural Communication Club of the university took charge of organizing this festive event, characterized by joy and cultural diversity. Diwali, also known as the 'Festival of Lights,' is a significant Hindu festival symbolizing the victory of light over darkness, marking the commencement of a new year. Celebrated by millions worldwide, it represents community, love, and the triumph of good over evil.
With their cheerful spirits, our students contributed to spreading the festive atmosphere of Diwali. Primarily, students from the first semester were present. This provided them with a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know each other in a warm atmosphere. A particular highlight was the colorful Kurtas worn by our students on this occasion, proudly showcasing the diversity of cultures represented at the bbw University of Applied Sciences. During the celebration, students had the chance to savor a variety of traditional sweets. Professor Buller, head of the weekly events at the Intercultural Communication Club, was also in attendance, expressing his delight at the festive ambiance.
The bbw University is pleased to support such cultural events, enriching not only the students' perspectives but also strengthening unity and diversity within our institution.
