Learning Objectives
1. 3D Printing and 3D Scanning
- Learn the basic steps in the 3D printing process: from the idea and CAD modelling to the use of a slicer and the production of a physical part.
- Introduction to 3D scanning technology and how it is used to create digital models.
2. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Learn the basics of the Python programming language with a focus on AI applications.
- Develop your own small AI projects, e.g. garment recognition and categorisation using image processing and machine learning.
3. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)
- Create your own digital models in a CAD program and transfer them into virtual environments using Unity.
- Develop an application for AR to integrate virtual objects into the real environment and experience them interactively.
4. Robotics and Internet of Things (IoT)
- Develop the practical fundamentals of robotics, including mechanical and electronic control.
- Introduction to programming and controlling IoT devices using Arduino to realise practical projects.
5. Practical work in the science laboratory
- Apply the technologies and tools learned in an interdisciplinary, hands-on environment.
- Develop teamwork and problem-solving skills through the realisation of concrete projects in all areas of technology.
Participants are empowered to turn creative technological ideas into reality and gain a sound insight into current technology trends.
